Sector charity Pharmacist Support has launched a new fundraising campaign with a dual focus with a focus on both legacy giving and immediate donations.
To coincide with last week’s Remember a Charity Week, the charity is encouraging supporters to consider leaving it a gift in their will, explaining that just one per cent of an individual’s estate “can make a profound and lasting impact”. Pharmacist Support recently launched a new online will-writing service.
And ahead of World Pharmacists Day on September 25, the charity is asking the sector and its supporters “to make a donation that will have an immediate impact on those in need” by supporting its work with those suffering with stress, mental health challenges and financial constraints.
Pharmacist Support chief executive Danielle Hunt said: “As the demand for our services continues to grow, this campaign is crucial in ensuring we can meet the immediate needs of our pharmacy family while also securing the future support for generations to come.
“Every donation, no matter the size, helps us provide essential services that make a real difference.”
